Android based smart phones are less time consuming and also are slow in terms of having the OS fragmentation. It usually takes about 30-40% longer for the engineers to build an Android Smartphone in comparison to the IOS Smartphone. Despite the language not being so complex, Android application Smartphone require more developing time.

 

●        Cost of development:

 

The cost of development usually depends upon the requirement and the needs of the business. The companies usually first take an appropriate decision related to the platform and then choose their development team accordingly by fixing up a rough cost estimate.

 

One should also keep in mind that an app development cost mainly depends on the time it takes to be made, the higher the time higher it will cost. Usually for IOS app development you need to pay about $100 per year but for Google store it can be a onetime fee of $25.  Both also can at time cost the same but it revolves around the time factor.

If your company is a start up then IOS will be the best place to begin with as it attracts more influencers and PR, but if your users are based in the emerging markets, then you can start with the Android powered applications as it will be easier for you to visit the app stores more often. There cannot be a straightforward answer as to which one is better than the other as it depends on each of the app owners to analyze their needs.
